The Malton Women's Business Collective is a friendly networking group for female business owners in Malton, Norton and the surrounding villages. Co-hosted by Louise Hawgood and Fiona Bielby, we bring together like-minded women to connect, collaborate and support each other, all wrapped up in a relaxed and welcoming quarterly event.
Every penny from ticket sales goes straight to our host venue, covering the cost of food on the night. We limit tickets to one per business to keep connections meaningful and focused.

Meet your hosts
Louise and Fiona first met over coffee to talk about business coaching, and things took an unexpected turn when Louise won a brand photography competition, that Fiona happened to be running! What started as a professional connection quickly grew into a firm friendship, and today they're more than just business besties, they're part of each other's families. Together, they've built the Malton Women's Business Collective as a passion project, bringing together like-minded women to connect, collaborate and support each other in and around Malton, running quarterly events since August 2025.
Louise Hawgood
Business & Mindset Coach
Louise is a Mastery Method certified life coach, specialising in business and mindset coaching for female business owners, with a particular focus on neurodiversity. Before swapping corporate life for coaching, she spent 15 years working across private banking, intellectual property, business administration and project management in Jersey. She moved to North Yorkshire in 2023 and now looks after the admin and socials for MWBC, co-planning events alongside Fiona. Outside of work, she's an avid Harry Potter fan, lives in jumpsuits (her outfit of choice, whatever the occasion), loves reading and is always up for learning something new, and her cavapoo Buddy is never far away, he's a regular star of her own branding photos and social media!
Fiona Bielby
Branding & Commercial Photographer
Fiona is an easygoing, relaxed brand photographer with a documentary-style approach, who began her journey shooting weddings and families before evolving into lifestyle brand photography for entrepreneurs, creatives and small local businesses. Since starting her business in 2016, she's learned that owning a business means becoming an expert in far more than just your craft, and she brings that understanding into every shoot, helping clients tell the best possible version of their story. Fiona takes the lead on brand photography and event planning for MWBC. Outside of work, Fiona has two grown-up kids, a dog named Steve, a love of horses and cocktails (though she's far too indecisive to pick just one!), and is currently renovating barns in her spare time.
